  • What is the Berry Amendment?

The Berry Amendment requires the U.S. Department of Defense to procure certain items, ike clothing, fabrics, and tools from domestic sources. Enacted in 1941 and made permanent in 1994, it safeguards national security and sustains America’s textile and manufacturing base by mandating U.S. production.
