GO-KOT Camping Cot
American-Made, Military-Grade Cot Built for Real-World Use
We've been building the GO-KOT by hand in Alabama since 1978. Not because it's trendy to say "Made in USA," but because we refuse to cut corners on something people depend on when it matters. Military units, wildland firefighters, first responders, and overlanders have trusted this cot for decades.
When you're in the field, sleep isn't a luxury. It's a requirement.
Why the GO-KOT is Different
American-Made & Berry Amendment Compliant
Built in our Alabama shop with U.S.-sourced materials. Every cot meets military and government procurement standards.
60-Second Setup, No Tools
Our patented frame goes from packed to ready in under a minute. No loose parts, no instructions needed after the first time.
1000D CORDURA® Nylon, Aluminum Frame, Spring Steel Legs
The same materials for military gear. Resists sagging, corrosion, and the kind of abuse that destroys cheaper cots inside a season.
9–10 lbs, Holds 350 lbs
Light enough to carry, strong enough to trust. Packs small for vehicle, base camp, or field use.
Built to Last - Not Just to Sell
Most camping cots are made to a price point. The GO-KOT is made to a standard. That's why we back it with a 3-year warranty and have customers who've had theirs for 20+ years.

Common Questions
What's the best camping cot for long-term or heavy use?
The GO-KOT was designed specifically for extended use in demanding environments - not occasional weekend trips. It's the cot military and emergency personnel reach for because it holds up when cheaper options don't.
Is it good for overlanding?
It's one of the most popular cots in the overlanding community. Compact, rugged, and it doesn't rattle apart on rough roads.
How fast does it set up?
About 60 seconds. The patented frame system clicks into place - no fumbling, no instructions after the first time.
Is this cot made in the USA?
Every GO-KOT is handcrafted in Alabama using U.S.-sourced materials. That's not a marketing line - it's how we've operated since 1978.

CLEANING YOUR GO-KOT ®
Let's face it, your outdoor gear isn't meant to stay clean. Camping, hiking, backpacking, kayaking, horseback riding, or anything other outdoor activity is going to coat your gear in dirt and mud.
The best outdoor gear isn't the gear that doesn't get dirty, it's the gear that is easy to clean.
Luckily, cleaning your GO-KOT® couldn't be more simple!
Most dirt can be wiped off with a damp wash cloth.
For tough grass or mud stains, use a damp wash cloth and a mild soap, like Dawn.
Do not place the soap directly on to the GO-KOT®.
Instead, mix the soap with water in bowl or bucket and dip the washcloth into the soapy water, and wring out 70% of the water before scrubbing.
If it is not completely clean after the first wipe down, just wipe it down a second time and you should be good to go! If needed, use cold water setting on washing machine, do not use a dryer.
Always let your GO-KOT® air dry after cleaning, and do not store until it is completely dry. If your cot gets soaked on your adventure, make sure to set it back up once you get home so it can dry out completely.
Once your GO-KOT® is all clean and dry, you will be ready for your next adventure!
NOTE: If your cot squeaks, remove the side poles rub some bar soap, not liquid soap, on them.
